Artist's Comments

I drew this a couple weeks ago when my artistic block really kicked in. Man...one thing I need to work on is scenery. Plants and animal are not my specialty. ^^; The background is the main thing that bothers me, I like how the girl came out, though. This picture is inspired by a song by the Rasmus, Don't Let Go from their Album "Hide from the Sun".

"Holding my breath as I walk to your garden
Everything seems so abandoned
Roses have grown just as high as a mountain
Fireflies glow in the dark."

I get a couple ideas for pictures when I hear this song, this picture being one of them...but it didn't come out the way I wanted it to. GAR!
